Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PAFAH1B2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PAFAH1B2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher PAFAH1B2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PAFAH1B2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.

LUAD, HNSC, and PDAC are the cancer types where PAFAH1B2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
