Across TCGA patient cohorts, PAEP protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,355 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PAEP-associated genes across cancer lineages are RSPH14, SYNGR1, and CHRDL1. Each is linked with PAEP in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PAEP-to-partner and partner-to-PAEP results are reported.
