Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PADI4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PADI4 data layer compared with 8 for mutation status and 7 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher PADI4 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PADI4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CHOL and SCLC show a favorable association.

LUSC, THCA, and CESC are the cancer types where PADI4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
