Across TCGA patient cohorts, PADI2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 12,529 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PADI2-associated genes across cancer lineages are BCL2A1, PLAUR, and CSF3R. Each is linked with PADI2 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PADI2-to-partner and partner-to-PADI2 results are reported.
