Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PABPC4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PABPC4 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher PABPC4 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PABPC4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, ESCA, and GBM are the cancer types where PABPC4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
