Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PABPC1L mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PABPC1L data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher PABPC1L mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PABPC1L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and LUAD show a favorable association.

CCRCC, PDAC, and LSCC are the cancer types where PABPC1L mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
