Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, P4HB Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated P4HB data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher P4HB Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated P4HB expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
LUAD, PRAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where P4HB Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
