Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, P2RX2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated P2RX2 data layer compared with 6 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher P2RX2 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated P2RX2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LUAD show a favorable association.
ACC, HNSC, and KIRP are the cancer types where P2RX2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
