Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OXSM mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OXSM data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher OXSM mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OXSM expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and PDAC show a favorable association.

COAD, PDAC, and HNSC are the cancer types where OXSM mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
