Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OTUB2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OTUB2 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher OTUB2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OTUB2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.
HNSC, LUAD, and THCA are the cancer types where OTUB2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
