Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OTC Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OTC data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher OTC Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OTC expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BLCA, SKCM, and UCEC are the cancer types where OTC Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
