Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OSTC Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OSTC data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher OSTC Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OSTC expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SARC and KIRP are the cancer types where OSTC Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
