Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OSGIN1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OSGIN1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher OSGIN1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OSGIN1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, THYM, and CESC are the cancer types where OSGIN1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
