Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OSGIN1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OSGIN1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher OSGIN1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OSGIN1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LSCC are the cancer types where OSGIN1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
