Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OSBPL3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OSBPL3 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher OSBPL3 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OSBPL3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
UCEC, HNSC, and SKCM are the cancer types where OSBPL3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
