Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR8U1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OR8U1 data layer compared with 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher OR8U1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR8U1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
COAD, SKCM, and LUSC are the cancer types where OR8U1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
