Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR8I2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OR8I2 data layer compared with 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher OR8I2 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR8I2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

STAD, KIRC, and TGCT are the cancer types where OR8I2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
