Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR8H3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OR8H3 data layer compared with 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher OR8H3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR8H3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
OV, MESO, and UCEC are the cancer types where OR8H3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
