Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR8G2P Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OR8G2P data layer compared with 11 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher OR8G2P Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR8G2P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where OR8G2P Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
