The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher OR8B8 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR8B8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC show a favorable association.
LIHC, HNSC, and BLCA are the cancer types where OR8B8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
