Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR8A3P RNA is linked to patient survival in 15 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OR8A3P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher OR8A3P RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR8A3P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.

KIRC, KICH, and LIHC are the cancer types where OR8A3P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
