Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR7K1P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of OR7K1P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where OR7K1P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types OR7K1P is over-expressed in tumor.
BRCA, PRAD, and BLCA are the cancer types where OR7K1P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
