Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR7E93P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of OR7E93P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where OR7E93P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types OR7E93P is over-expressed in tumor.
KIRC are the cancer types where OR7E93P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
