Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR7E31P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of OR7E31P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where OR7E31P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types OR7E31P is over-expressed in tumor.
BLCA, UCEC, and STAD are the cancer types where OR7E31P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
