Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR7A5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OR7A5 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher OR7A5 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR7A5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
STAD, COAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where OR7A5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
