Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR6S1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 16 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OR6S1 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher OR6S1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR6S1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and HNSC show a favorable association.
KIRC, ACC, and OV are the cancer types where OR6S1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
