Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR6C76 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of OR6C76’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where OR6C76 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types OR6C76 is over-expressed in tumor.
THCA are the cancer types where OR6C76 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
