Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR6C4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OR6C4 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher OR6C4 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR6C4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and UCS show a favorable association.
SARC, PAAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where OR6C4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
