Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR6C1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OR6C1 data layer compared with 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher OR6C1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR6C1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
THYM, STAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where OR6C1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
