Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR5L2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OR5L2 data layer compared with 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher OR5L2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR5L2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

HNSC, CHOL, and LUSC are the cancer types where OR5L2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
