Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR5H1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OR5H1 data layer compared with 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher OR5H1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR5H1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BRCA, PAAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where OR5H1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
