Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR5D13 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OR5D13 data layer compared with 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher OR5D13 Mutation is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR5D13 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC show a favorable association.
SCLC are the cancer types where OR5D13 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
