Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR5BM1P RNA is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OR5BM1P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher OR5BM1P RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR5BM1P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA show a favorable association.

STAD, ESCA, and KIRC are the cancer types where OR5BM1P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
