Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR5B17 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OR5B17 data layer compared with 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher OR5B17 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR5B17 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where OR5B17 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
