Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR5AU1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OR5AU1 data layer compared with 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), where higher OR5AU1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR5AU1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LIHC show a favorable association.

READ, SKCM, and BRCA are the cancer types where OR5AU1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
