Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR5A1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OR5A1 data layer compared with 15 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher OR5A1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR5A1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
OV, HNSC, and SKCM are the cancer types where OR5A1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
