Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR56A4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OR56A4 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher OR56A4 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR56A4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LAML show a favorable association.
LUAD, UCEC, and THCA are the cancer types where OR56A4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
