The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher OR52E7P RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR52E7P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.

SKCM, PCPG, and ESCA are the cancer types where OR52E7P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
