Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR51Q1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OR51Q1 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher OR51Q1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR51Q1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and UCS show a favorable association.

OV, UCS, and THCA are the cancer types where OR51Q1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
