Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR51P1P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of OR51P1P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where OR51P1P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types OR51P1P is over-expressed in tumor.
PRAD are the cancer types where OR51P1P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
