Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR51F5P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of OR51F5P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where OR51F5P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types OR51F5P is over-expressed in tumor.
PRAD are the cancer types where OR51F5P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
