Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR4S2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OR4S2 data layer compared with 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher OR4S2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR4S2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
CESC, STAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where OR4S2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
