Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR4S1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OR4S1 data layer compared with 10 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher OR4S1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR4S1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC show a favorable association.
COAD, READ, and LGG are the cancer types where OR4S1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
