Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR4K5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OR4K5 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher OR4K5 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR4K5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA, COAD, and SCLC are the cancer types where OR4K5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
