Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR4K3 RNA is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OR4K3 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher OR4K3 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR4K3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG show a favorable association.

KIRP, PAAD, and THCA are the cancer types where OR4K3 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
