Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR4F17 RNA is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OR4F17 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher OR4F17 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR4F17 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.

COAD, SKCM, and ACC are the cancer types where OR4F17 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
