Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR4C6 RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OR4C6 data layer compared with 14 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher OR4C6 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR4C6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and OV show a favorable association.

KIRC, LUSC, and LIHC are the cancer types where OR4C6 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
