Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR4A16 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OR4A16 data layer compared with 10 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher OR4A16 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR4A16 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

ESCA, LUSC, and LIHC are the cancer types where OR4A16 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
