Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR2W1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OR2W1 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher OR2W1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR2W1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, UCEC, and LUAD are the cancer types where OR2W1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
