Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR2W1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OR2W1 data layer compared with 11 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher OR2W1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR2W1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ESCA, LIHC, and UCS are the cancer types where OR2W1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
